Jardin clos en lisière de friche - Maryse Renard et Lawand
A woman in a enclosure, haunted by the prospect of returning to the wild (the natural?). Feeling her life traversing the seasons. Put into words, this overflow, the tangle of seasons and of time: a moment without limits?
Maryse Mahmoudian-Renard, Swiss resident since 1975, accustomed to subtle variations in dialict since her childhood in a small village in Champagne, France, turned later to linguistics which led to a reflection on language, teaching and research in both France and Switzerland. This path led her to gain confidence and freedom from language and take the daunting step to publish her personal writings. It was Le Cadratin, created by Jean-Renaud Dagon, that facilitated this step and ten titles have already been published.
Other publications have appeared in journals including: Ecriture, l'Etabli de Traumfabrik, Remue.net, N47/28, Bacchanales, Alsatian Review of Literature. Collaboration with Femmes en Suisse by des comptes-rendus d'ouvrages and at the Centre d'études du Pays sézannais (Marne France), which publishes articles of historical interest. She collaborated with painters to produce several Livres Pauvres at the request of Daniel Leuwers.
An exhibition of her books and works of the seven accompanying painters with readings and music took place at the Estrée in Ropraz in 2016.

Lawand Amary is an artist and painter based in Lille, France. Also versed in the techniques of drawing, sculpture and bas-relief.
Born in Aleppo, Syria, of Kurdish origin, Lawand arrived in Angers at the age of 10 with his family. The desire to create and experience new spaces, places, territories or creative contexts has continued to strengthen throughout his career. After obtaining French nationality at the age of 20 in 2004, a new field of possibilities became available in the form of visits throughout Europe, Algeria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, where he stayed for a year in Cairo in 2005 . Many trips between France and Syria also mark this period.
Returning from his last year in Cairo, the General Council of Maine and Loire presented an exhibition at the Collegiate Church of St Martin d'Angers in 2008. This brought together thirty exhibits in retrospect and proposed a day of readings with poets Bernard Noël, Jean Claude Schneider and Adonis. This first meeting was then extended through the creation of artists' books with these poets and Antoine Emaz and Jacky Essirard in Angers.
Since his establishment in 2010 in Lille, undisputed hub of northwest Europe, particularly in the arts - and so strengthened since it was awarded the title "European Capital of Culture" in 2004 - the proximity of major European artistic capitals and the inclusion of the city in the dynamics of international cross-border cooperation has led to his work being exhibited not only in Lille, but also in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, London, Turin and Lausanne.
