Dedicated to his partner, his love, his wife, Mylene. This book of 12 pictures is accompanied by a poem entitled Hymn by Baudelaire, an excerpt from "Fleurs du Mal".
Born September 15, 1929 at Pringy-Gruyères, established in Lausanne since 1964 photographer Marcel Imsand remains one of the great portraitists of our time. His portraits and landscapes have a distinct style, full of love, tenderness and emotion. Marcel Imsand has practiced social photojournalism and journalism. In 1970 and 1971, he received the Bourse Fédérale des arts appliqués. In 1976 he was winner of the Prix des murailles, in 1979 Grand Prix Suisse de la photographie ((2nd prize). In 1988 he received the Grand Prix de la photographie given by the Foundation for the Advancement artistic creation. in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
